BERKSHIRE - Phillip S. Cheney, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 10, 2018.
He was born in St. Albans on July 1, 1972 to Doris (Obey) Cheney and the late Bernard Cheney.
Philip was a farmer through and through. He loved working the land, milking the cows and just making sure everything was taken care of. He worked on a farm for several years before buying his own in Marshfield, VT. Phillip and Danielle sold their farm in April of this year. When Phillip wasnt working, he was spending time with his family or riding his four-wheeler. His sense of humor will be missed by everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Danielle Cheney of Berkshire; 3 daughters, Nikisha Davis, Harley Davis, and Tacoma Cheney and her significant other, Dillon; 6 grandchildren, Jawzlyn, DJ, Hunter, Skyler, Lanie & Sophie; his mother, Doris Cheney of St. Albans; his siblings, Lorina White of Highgate, Molly Bricker of St. Albans, Jay Cheney and his wife Tina of Enosburg, and Roger Cheney of Bakersfield; his side-kick , Uncle Bill Clair and many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Phillip was predeceased by his father, Bernard Cheney and his sister, Phyllis Cheney.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickenson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
Visitation will be held on Monday at Spears Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until the hour of the service.
