Phyllis A. Messier

December 13, 1923 — May 6, 2016

ENOSBURG FALLS - Phyllis A. (Cassidy) Messier, age 92, went to join her loving husband (Hubert) and daughter Debra on Friday, May 6, 2016 at The Villa Rehab Center in St. Albans with her family at her side.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Phyllis was born in Berkshire on December 13,1923 to Albert and Frances Cassidy. She married her sweetheart Hubert Messier (Steve) on June 28, 1944. Together they made a beautiful marriage of 65 years.

She worked for A. Brown for numerous years as a bookkeeper. Then worked at the Howard Bank and also delivered meals on wheels to the elderly. She enjoyed meeting the people in her line of work. She also enjoyed the Bridge club, camping and spending time with her family.

Phyllis leaves behind her loving children, Eric and his wife Jeannette of Berkshire, Duane and his wife Karla of East Fairfield. Also, 5 Grandchildren, 2 Step-Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Step-Great Grandchildren. A brother Wendell Cassidy and his wife, Barbara, sisters-in-law Natalie Guilmette, Bernolene Roddy, Also, brother-in-law Rollo Barry of Morrisville, several nieces and Nephews.
She will be fondly remembered and truly missed by her family and friends.
At Phyllis request there will be no public calling hours or service. There will be a private service at the grave site.
Hubert and daughter Debra prepared Phyllis a new home with them in eternity. They are now together forever.
