Rebecca Bushey

Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Bushey, 50 unexpectedly passed on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Highgate, Vermont, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 26, 1974, in St. Albans, Vermont, Becky was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. She graduated from Northern Vermont University with a Bachelor's degree in Art and Professional Studies, dedicating both her personal and professional life to uplifting others. She took immense pride in her work at VABIR, where she made a meaningful impact by helping people reach their potential. In addition to her career, Becky was a passionate entrepreneur, running her own energy healing business, where she helped others find balance, peace, and well-being. Becky was known for her warmth, generosity, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Becky had a deep love for gardening, sports, and live music. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and close friends, cherishing every moment with those she loved most.

Becky is survived by her devoted husband, Robin Bushey, and their three children: Justice Gaudette and his wife, Aurora Gaudette; Lucien Bushey and his partner, Nikki Trahan; and Rheanna Gaudette and her partner, Jarred Vislocky, along with their son, Jude Gaudette.

She also leaves behind her siblings: Joanne Gaudette and her husband, Mike Beller, of Carver, MN along with their children, Samantha and her husband Lukas, Katrina, and Xavier; Brian Gaudette and his partner, Traci Campbell of Alburgh, VT and his children, Dylan and his wife, Ashleigh and their son Jameson, Kolby, and Shane Gaudette; and Thomas Gaudette and his wife, April, of Florence, AZ, with their children, Olivia, Gabriella, Maria, Thomas, Gloria, and Victoria.

Becky was predeceased by her beloved parents, Shirley Ploof and Robert Gaudette.

Friends and family will be invited to Becky's life celebration to include visitation on Monday, March 24th, 2025 from 4-6:00PM, a funeral service will be held at 6:00PM at the Goss Life Celebration Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton, VT 05488.
