RICHFORD - Ricky L. Tatro, age 57, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born in Richford on November 10, 1960 to the late Leonard & Betty (Fontaine) Tatro.
Ricky was raised and attended schools in Richford. He married Carol (Reed) on December 16, 1989. Ricky worked as a farmer for many years and then later became a roofer. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Family meant the world to Ricky. He enjoyed spending time with his children and held a special place in his heart for every one of his beloved grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Adam Tatro of St. Albans, Ian Tatro and his significant other, Tenika Draper of Fairfax, Seth Thompson of Castleton, Jessie Durgan and his wife, Lynn of Richford, Cory Reed and his significant other, Kayla Paquette of Richford, Heather Stanley and her significant other, Jessup Allen of St. Albans, Leann Holmes of Richford, Ashley Giard of Richford, Allison Desautels and her significant other, Nicholas Chates of Richford, and Meghan Desautels; many cherished grandchildren; his siblings, Edward & Marion Tatro of Lake George, NY, David Tatro and his significant other, Lisa Calderwood of Berkshire, Maurice Tatro of Richford, Loren & Wanda Tatro of Fairfax, Jeff & Jill Tatro of Richford, Brian & Wendy Tatro of Berkshire, Steve & Michelle Tatro of Richford, and Lisa & Scott Baker of Montgomery Center; siblings-in-law, Sheila Tatro of Richford, Joseph Donna Sr. of Johnson, and Sue Tatro of Gatesville, TX; many nieces & nephews; and his four-legged best friend, Jake. Besides his parents, Ricky was predeceased by his wife, Carol Tatro; and his siblings, Deborah Donna, Leonard Tatro and Robert Bobby Tatro.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Montgomery Center Cemetery, VT Route 118, Montgomery Center.
