Robert Bushey

SHELDON - Robert Earl Bushey, age 71, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born on September 23, 1943 in Cambridge, VT, the son of Eugene and Susie (LaPlant) Bushey. He worked at Rock-Tenn in Sheldon from July 1966 to October 2008, retiring after 42 years of dedicated service.
Bob was a family man, great father and friend to all who knew him. He especially enjoyed cars and racing.
Surviving are 2 sons Robert Bushey, Jr. of Berkshire and Brian Bushey and his partner Jennifer Pelston of Sheldon; 3 daughters Lori Bushey and her partner Scott Lucier of Swanton, Kimberly Bushey and her partner William Clark of Swanton and Amy Farnham of Sheldon; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a brother Raymond Bushey of Sheldon and a sister Rita LEsperance and her husband Jerry of St. Albans.
In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his former wife Sandra Mosier; 2 brothers, Louis and Joseph Bushey and 2 sisters Lillian Lapan and Laura Taylor.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, 222 Missisquoi St. in Enosburg Falls with the Rev. Roger Charbonneau officiating. Interment followed in the Sheldon Village Cemetery.
A time of visitation was held on Thursday, May 28 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Spears Funeral Home 96 Dickinson Ave, Enosburg Falls.
