Robert Vaillancourt

WINOOSKI - Robert Herbert Vaillancourt, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2008 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. The loss of our brother, friend and confidant will forever alter our lives.
He was born in Berkshire, Vermont to Marjorie (Rogers) and Ronald Vaillancourt on November 8, 1950. He was a 1968 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School and attended St. Michaels and Johnson State Colleges. He retired from Champlain Cable in 2002 after 23 years of service in quality control.
A true intellectual, Robert pursued many interests, especially in the arts and history which he loved most. His keen sense of observation allowed him to appreciate beauty in the smallest of things and his unparalled wit saw humor where most of us could find none.
Robert was predeceased not only by his beloved parents, but also his youngest brother, Tom and nephew, Chad Vaillancourt. He is survived by his sister Debra Goodrich and her husband Mike of Berkshire; his brother Raymond and his wife Anne of Berkshire; and his brother Glenn and his wife Trish of St. Albans, who remained his special friends throughout his all but too short life. It is Roberts final wish that in lieu of conventional funeral services, a simple interment be held in the spring which is to be announced by the family and will be held at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Enosburg Falls, Vermont
