ST. ALBANS - Roxanne M. Foxy Roxy Poirier, age 54, passed away at her home on Thursday afternoon July 7, 2011with the most love that she could possibly have with her family at her side.
Roxanne was born November 12, 1956 in St. Albans the daughter of Charlotte (Elkins) Noyes and the late Donald W. Noyes
Roxanne graduated from Brockton High School, Brockton MA in 1974. She was employed at the Department of Homeland Security for the past 16 years.
Roxanne married the love of her life James Jim H Poirier on August 17, 2002.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband at their camp on Fairfield Pond. Spending time with all the grandchildren and enjoying the toys and being a kid again at camp; Jumping off the trampoline and going down the water slide and catching fish off the dock in butterfly nets, water gun fights, smores or hot dogs over the open camp fire. She enjoyed many breakfasts\u0027 on the dock with her special boy ; Carter. She had many memorable four wheeling trips with her husband Jim all their friends and many, stories to tell after the rides.

Survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Shanon Guilmette and her husband James and their two children Carter and Jillian of St.Albans; her mother, Charlotte Parent and her husband Raymond of Enosburg; Step daughter, Jill Buckpitt and her husband Adam and their two children Owen and Lainey of St.Albans; Step daughter, Jennifer Poirier of St.Albans; and Step son, James Poirier of St.Albans; her siblings, Ira Noyes and his wife Robin Noyes of Berkshire, Karla Lawyer and her husband Lyman of Enosburg, Francine MacLean and her husband Mickey of Charlestown, NH, Mona VanDyke and her husband Brian of Leighigh Acres, Florida, Donald Noyes and his wife Judy of Richford, Jill Noyes and her husband Porky of Richford, Jack Noyes and his wife Lori of St.Albans; Step sister Ann Cota and her husband Bernie of Swanton, Faron Parent and his girlfriend Penny Jenkins of Governor, NY, Donna Parent of Bedford Quebec, and Rachel Royea and her husband Randy of Philphsburg, Quebec; her In Laws; Ann Gratton and her husband Al of Enosburg, Kathy Whitney and her husband Ted of Bakersfield and David Poirier of California. She also leaves a huge loving family with many nieces, nephews and cousins and many special friends.
Roxanne was predeceased by her father, Donald W. Noyes; brother, Keith Noyes, Grandparents, Richard & Dorcas Elkins and Ralph & Bessie Noyes; in-laws, Richard & Betty Poirier; nephew, George Brassil; and great niece Emily Brassil
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday July 9, 2011 from 1-4 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls followed by a memorial service at the funeral home at 4:00 PM. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Montgomery Center Cemetery.
