Sally (Therrien) Phillips,73 of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away July 26, 2011
Sally was born in St. Albans, Vermont in 1938 to Arnold and Margaret (Brennan) Therrien. She graduated from BFA in 1957 and spent her professional years as a legal secretary. She later moved to Maine with her husband, John and raised their three children. Sally enjoyed being involved in her community and filled several roles: Second Vice President of the Board of Directors for Gem Estates MHV Association, Zephyrhills, Florida; Secretary/Treasurer, Gem Estates Red Hat Society, Zephyrhills, Florida; Past President of FD Hazelton Unit 43, American Legion Auxiliary, Belfast, Maine; Secretary of the Ladies of St. Louis Parish, Highgate, Vermont.
Survivors include John Phillips, Sr. her beloved husband of 52 years; daughter, Judy Soper (partner, Steve Curry); sons John Phillips (wife, Jennifer) and Jay Phillips (wife, Michele); grandchildren, Brittany, Jayme, Ian, Kasandra, and Taylor; brother Michael Therrien; sisters, Jacqueline Tatro and Kay Casavant. She is predeceased by her parents Arnold and Margaret Therrien, brother, Wayne Therrien, and sisters, Maureen LaPlante and Judith Ryan.
Sallys smile brought joy to many and she will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Burial and celebration of life will be held on August 27, 2011 at 10:00 am in her home state of Vermont at St. Anthonys Catholic Cemetery, Mill St., Sheldon Springs.
