Sandra C. Duchaine

SWANTON – Sandra C. Duchaine, age 67, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2021 in Swanton following some recent health issues.

She was born in St. Albans on July 15, 1953 to the late Russell “Bud” & Joyce (Blair) Duchaine.

Sandra loved tending to her flower gardens and growing beautiful bleeding hearts. She also enjoyed watching and feeding the birds that visited her bird feeders regularly, especially the cardinals. Lawn sales were another favorite of Sandra’s, she had a hard time driving past them without stopping to see what treasures she might find!

She is survived by her children, Dean Ryan and his wife Angela of Swanton and Josh Duchaine and his wife Ashley of Swanton; grandchildren, Brittany, Tiffany, Brooke and Nick Ryan, Terrell Houston, Sara, Chloe, and Luke Duchaine, and another grandchild due to join the family in July; siblings, Debbie Barcomb, Bruce Duchaine, Cathy Bohannon and her husband Gilbert, and William “Billy” Duchaine and his wife Noella; several nieces, nephews, and special friends. Besides her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her son, Paul Ryan in 2007; and her brother, Russell Duchaine.    

In keeping with Sandra’s wishes there will be no services.
