ENOSBURG FALLS – Sara J. Johnson, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at her home in Enosburg Falls.
She was born in St. Albans on January 30, 1961 to the late Philip “Murph” & June (Chapman) Irish.
Sara grew up as the youngest child in her family, or as Mom and Dad’s “baby girl” as her siblings would affectionately say. Which is probably why her “baby boy” was the world to her. Sara’s life became complete when she got a son of her own, Cory Philip Johnson as she would say. She lived her life to care for him, and to care for others. Throughout her life she held several different jobs, but her favorite ones involved service to others. Customer service, bar tending, respite care, any way to serve others made her happy. Sara was an excellent cook, and she enjoyed trips to the casino, and playing cribbage.
She leaves behind her son, Cory Johnson and his significant other Lea and her son Tyson of Sheldon; her long-time companion, Thomas Larose of Enosburg Falls; step-children, Chad Johnson and his wife Miranda, Jason Larose and his wife Laura, Jeremy Larose and his wife Hailey, and Jenessa Tamargo and her husband Richie; 12 grandchildren; her siblings, Barb Paradee and her husband Doug, Jim Irish and his wife Mary, and Peter Irish; several nieces & nephews; and we can’t forget her four-legged companion, Buckee. Sara was predeceased by her parents.
