Sarah Jane Donna

RICHFORD - Sarah J. Donna, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.

She was born in St. Albans on May 10, 1963, the daughter of the late Bernard and Juanita (Mayo) Johnson.

Sarah grew up in West Berkshire and attended Richford High School. In June of 1987 she married Burton Burt Donna Jr. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren, they were her world. Sarah enjoyed visiting on her front porch or around bonfires, going for rides, completing puzzles and crosswords, coloring in her coloring books, attending her grandchildrens events, planting flowers, and having fun. Sarah will be remembered for her sense of humor and her fun-loving personality.

She is survived by her husband, Burton Donna Jr. of Richford; her children, Benjamin Johnson and his fianc Lori Martin of Berkshire, and Jonathon Johnson and his significant other Tianna Gabree of East Richford; her step-children, Michelle Donna of Fayetteville, NC, and Marlena Price and her husband Andrew of Raeford, NC; her grandchildren, Desiree, Kenneth, Darren, and Katelynn Martin, Brooke, Carter, and Rosalee Johnson; her step-grandchildren, Jimmy and Andrew Lewis; her great-granddaughter, Aleia Wetherby; her siblings, Clifford Johnson of FL, Bernard Johnson of Fairfield, Michael Johnson of FL, Patricia Shatney of Deland, FL, Dale Wetherby of Richford, Sherri Mercy and her husband Duane of Montgomery, and Johnny Johnson and his wife Doreen of Berkshire; her brother-in-law, Alan Donna of Montgomery; her sister-in-law, Priscilla Johnson of Richford; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sarah was predeceased by her siblings, Carol Sue Johnson, David Johnson, and Darla Donna; her step-son, Burton Donna III; and several aunts and uncles.

Sarahs family would like to thank the staff at Northwestern Medical Center especially Amanda Murray, Amanda Miner, and Andrea Vaillancourt, and the staff at UVM Medical Center for the wonderful care that she received.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Spears Funeral Home , 96 Dickinson Avenue, Enosburg Falls, VT.

Visitation for Sarah will be held on Wednesday at Spears Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service.
