FAIRFIELD - Scott A. Bapp, age 56, passed away Sunday May 6, 2012 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care facility in Burlington.
He was born on September 25, 1955 in Colchester the son of the late Herbert & Jeannette (Blow) Bapp.
Scott enjoyed spending time with his extended family, especially hunting and fishing and vacationing in Maine. He was an avid sports fan and followed the Yankees, Patriots, and the Earnhardts of NASCAR. Scott spent most of his working career at IBM and served in the Army National Guard for 20 years.
He is survived by his siblings, Audrey Blow of Essex Jct., Ernest Bapp and his wife Jackie of Enosburg, Maurice Bapp of Belvidere, Jack Bapp and his wife Lee Ann of Enosburg, Beatrice Bapp of Enosburg and Pauline Baker and her husband Jerry of Enosburg; his step-children, Toni Campbell and her husband Bill, Wendy Brigham and her husband Chris, Denise Hughes and her husband Tom, Lisa OConner and her husband Bob, Ernie Kimball and his wife Sylvia, Eric Kimball and his wife Laura and Mark Kimball; many step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Besides his parents Scott was predeceased by his wife, Carole (Graham) Bapp; his siblings, Annette Atherton, Elsie Nolan and Robert Bapp; his step-daughter in law, Kim Kimball and his nephew Wayne Baker.
A memorial service will be held Friday May 11, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT 05450 with Rev. Leonidas Laroche officiating.
A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 2 until the hour of the funeral.
