Shawn Hennessey

BAKERSFIELD - Shawn Paul Hennessey, age 34, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Vermont Respite House in Williston surrounded by his lifelong friends.

Shawn was born on February 22, 1981 in St. Albans, the son of the late Jack & Maureen (Blanchard) Hennessey.

Shawn worked for P.J.s Auto transporting cars. He was an avid collector of Legos and Hot Wheel cars. He was an exceptional artist and creator of anime cartoons. Shawn enjoyed shopping, playing video games, shooting guns and spending time with his family and friends.

There are special family and friends in Shawns life who should be recognized and acknowledged; Ant Sheel who was a devoted Aunt spending countless hours as a caregiver, confidant and motivator, and shared many good times and laughs together; Cousin Donna who stood by Shawn during his illness, providing the love and support needed through good times and bad; Kathy & Dave Baker and Holly & John Crispell - for the countless hours you devoted in the care of Shawn and Tenshi. You have shown the true value of friendship; Bob Atherton for allowing Shawn to cross off riding in a helicopter from his bucket list. For always being the father figure in his life and always believing in Shawn; Bill Leedy, Chris Newett, Jesse DuRona & Chris Tefft who were lifelong friends and continually showed support throughout Shawns life;

Shawn is survived by his Aunts and Uncles; several cousins including Travis & Spencer who spent many hours playing with Shawn through their childhood and Mike & Bill who were always available to Shawn.

In accordance with Shawns wishes there will be no visiting hours or funeral.
