BERKSHIRE- Sheila A. Conger, age 70, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born in Burlington on April 30, 1952 to the late Mary Jane (Aunchman) and Howard E. Blow Sr.
Sheila grew up in the Burlington on St. Mary's Street and graduated from Burlington High School in 1970. She married Robert "Bob" Conger Jr. on June 20, 1970. Sheila worked various jobs and helped run businesses with Bob including a waterbed store and beauty shop- 7th Heaven Beauty Salon in Burlington, and Bob's Variety & Deli grocery store in Barton, until they moved to Berkshire, and she decided to join Bob on the road and became a truck driver. She enjoyed being on the road with Bob for over 28 years with Prime Inc. When Sheila wasn't working she loved shopping, going to the casino, getting her nails done, and preparing and holding family gatherings at her home, especially Christmas. She will be remembered for her ability to tell you how she would like something done, her unwavering love of her husband, and her generosity.
She is survived by her sons, Robert "Bobby" Conger III and his wife Amy, and Bradly Conger Sr. and his wife Angie all of Berkshire; grandchildren, Kyra, Robert IV, Bradly Jr., Bree, Isaiah, Noah, Keith, Devin, Andrew, and Shelby; great grandchildren, Easton and Oliver; siblings, Shirley Cooke and her husband Bill, Wayne Blow and his wife Nancy, Mary Jane Howard and her husband Mike, Larry Blow and his wife Peggy; siblings-in-law, Lucinda Stetson and her husband Norman, Deborah Billado and her husband Al, Sylvia Brock and her husband Chuck, and Donna Conger; several nieces and nephews; and her pup, Remi. Besides her parents, Sheila is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Robert "Bob" Conger Jr., and brothers, Ronald Blow, and Howard Blow Jr.
Family and friends are invited to Sheila's services on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 to include visitation from 5-6:00PM with a memorial service to follow at 6:00PM at The Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.
