SWANTON – Shelby Adams-Cherrier, aged 26, of Swanton, Vermont passed away in an unexpected accident on September 14th, 2024. Born on February 12th, 1998, in St Albans, Vermont. Shelby brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.
Shelby was known for her bubbly and friendly personality. Her contagious laugh and loving nature made her a cherished presence in any gathering. She had an innate ability to make friends wherever she went and loved deeply with her whole heart. Shelby’s passion for life was evident in her love for her dogs, Django and Max, who were her world.
She enjoyed a variety of hobbies that kept her spirit vibrant. Shelby loved spending time with her dogs and friends, traveling to new places, and cherishing quiet moments at home cuddled up with her dogs watching her favorite movies.
Shelby is survived by a loving family: her mother Melissa Adams (nee Cherrier), her father Steven Adams, as well as her step-father Troy Adams who loved her as his own. Her grandparents Melody Adams (nee Conger) her husband Royallen Adams and Gary Cherrier and his spouse Bonnie Lussier, her aunt Amy Cherrier, uncle Jaime Adams. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings Cierra Adams-Cherrier and her husband Dakota Mallette, Cherica Adams and her significant other Jordan Varney, Logan Lewis, Macey Adams and Ryan Morris. Nieces and nephews Freya, Zariah, and Axl. Shelby was predeceased by her paternal grandmother Cathy Demar, her uncles Eric and Ernie and several great-grandparents.
Shelby’s warmth, laughter, and loving nature will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness and joy will continue to inspire those she left behind.
A celebration of life will be held for Shelby on Friday September 27th, 2024 from 3PM-5PM at St Anns hall 65 Canada St Swanton, Vermont.
