Suzanne Marie Tracy (LaBelle)

February 24th, 1965 - December 30th, 2024

On December 30, 2024, after a 13 year courageous battle with brain tumors, Suzanne Marie Tracy (LaBelle), 59, peacefully ended her fight and went home to be with the Lord, whom she loved so much. Throughout her illness, Suzanne remained consistently strong and determined to fight, never once being in fear due to her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.

Suzanne was born on February 24, 1965 in St. Albans, VT to Lomby and Mathilde LaBelle of Enosburg Falls, VT. One of six girls, Suzanne grew up surrounded by love and laughter with her sisters. Always a strong willed and intelligent woman, Suzanne graduated from Enosburg Falls High School in 1983. She then pursued a degree in Business/Accounting from Champlain College, where she graduated with an Associates Degree in 1985.

Suzanne met the love of her life, Terry Tracy of Richford, VT in the summer of 1987. Suzanne and Terry got married on September 16, 1989 at the Methodist Church in Enosburg Falls, VT. They built a home together on Chester A. Arthur Road in Enosburg, VT, and it was here that Suzanne and Terry started their family. Suzanne always dreamed of being a mother, and the birth of her daughters Amelia and Callan fulfilled that dream. Suzanne always said that her greatest achievement in life was being a mother to her daughters. Suzanne put her family above everything else in her life. She was the most devoted and fierce mother, and the most loyal and loving wife. Suzanne's daughters and husband were her entire world.

Suzanne was an extremely talented and gifted artist. She spent her life diving head first into various crafts and projects. Over the years she dabbled in knitting, crocheting, and wool applique with hand embroidery, but Suzanne's biggest creative love was quilting. She spent countless hours making many quilts throughout her life, and those quilts were made with Suzanne's entire heart and soul. Suzanne was also an avid gardener, and working in nature with flowers and plants in her gardens is where she found peace and comfort.

In her professional life, Suzanne worked as a bookkeeper for Physicians Computer Company (PCC) in Winooski, VT. Throughout her many years at PCC, Suzanne developed many life long relationships with co-workers who in time became like a second family to her. For such an independent woman who loved her job, Suzanne was devastated to have to retire early from PCC due to the progression of her illness.

Besides her unconditional love for her family, Suzannes largest value in her life was her Christian faith and her relationship with Jesus Christ. Suzanne was an active member of Church of the Rock in St. Albans, VT, and here she found a beloved community of friends who shared her love for Jesus. This faith and devotion is what made Suzanne the beautiful, selfless person we all loved so much, and everything she did was in the name of her Lord and Savior.

Left to cherish and honor Suzannes life and memory is her husband, Terry Tracy; her daughters, Amelia Tracy and Callan Tracy; her daughter-in-law, Courtney Hay; her parents, Lomby and Mathilde LaBelle; her sisters, Marion Tatro (LaBelle) and husband Ed Tatro, Patricia Marshall (LaBelle), Babette Coons (LaBelle) and husband Mark Coons, Michelle Goodbred (LaBelle) and husband Bruce Goodbred, Erika LaBelle Hinkle; many loved nieces and nephews; countless cherished friends; and her two beloved cats, Chloe and Lola.

Suzannes family would like to extend an acknowledgement and heartfelt thank you to all the medical staff at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA, Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, and Spaulding Acute Rehabilitation Hospital in Cambridge, MA for all of their dedicated hard work and time spent helping Suzanne throughout the last 13 years.

A celebration of Suzannes life will be held at Church of the Rock in St. Albans, VT on Saturday, January 11th at 11am, and is open to any and all who were touched by Suzannes short but beautiful life. A private family graveside burial will occur at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make any donation in Suzannes memory to the Fisher House Boston in Boston, MA. Donations can be sent through https://fisherhouseboston.org/
