Tara Rice

ST. ALBANS - Tara L. Rice, age 42, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.

She was born in St. Albans on June 8, 1982 to Norman McAllister Sr. and the late Lena (Johnson) McAllister.

Tara will always be remembered for her kind heart, and love for her family. She particularly cherished spending time with her husband and daughter. Tara's interests included playing cards, watching movies, going shopping, and embarking on road trips and visits to fairs, creating cherished memories with her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Rice Jr. and their daughter Kaitlyn of St. Albans; step-daughter, Jasmine Rice; her father, Norman McAllister Sr.; her siblings, Norman "Pete" McAllister Jr. and his wife Beth, and Heath McAllister and his wife Lora; in-laws, Charles Rice Sr. and Norma Rice; brother-in-law, Eugene Rice and his wife Audrey and their son Gavin; and several nieces & nephews. Tara was predeceased by her mother, Lena McAllister.

Tara's family will be holding a private memorial service, and she will be laid to rest in the St. Albans Bay Cemetery.
