Theodore "Ted" W. Lemoine

SWANTON - Theodore Ted Lemoine, age 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in St. Albans on October 4, 1956 to the late George and Beverly (Thompson) Lemoine.

Ted married the love of his life, Stacey (LaFar) Lemoine on November 3, 1979, and were later blessed with their only daughter, Raquel. Ted lived a very active life. He loved to ride his bicycle, he enjoyed walks around town which usually led to lots of talking with friends. His family would describe him as a social butterfly. He truly enjoyed time in the woods, especially squirrel hunting, and watching the birds! Ted retired after 30 years of working at the Swanton Armory. He was proud to be a Vermont National Guard member retiring after 20 years of service. Teds outgoing personality will genuinely be missed by his family and his many friends.

He is survived by his best friend and wife of almost 41 years, Stacey (LaFar) Lemoine of Swanton; his daughter, Raquel Lemoine of Swanton; and a grandson, Matthew who was more like a son; three siblings; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Besides his parents, Ted was predeceased by his brother James Matthew Lemoine in January of 1961.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. Interment will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation will be held on Friday at Kidder Memorial Home from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service.
