ENOSBURG FALLS - Theresa Mary Neale, age 100, went to meet her Lord on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Brownway Residence in Enosburg Falls.
Theresa was born in Mansonville, Quebec on December 10, 1919. The daughter of the late Alfred & Josephine (Gendron) Prive.
She was married to George Neale on August 28, 1949 at St. John the Baptist Church in Enosburg Falls. Theresa was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and the Ladies of St. Anne for 68 years. She was employed at United Farmers Creamery for many years. Then she worked at OShea Publishing Company in Enosburg Falls. She loved to read and play cribbage with her friends.
Theresa is survived by a son, Robert of Burlington; a very special niece, and caregiver, Lorraine Paradis; a special god-daughter, Patricia Prive Mann; three grandchildren, Kirk Neale and his wife Jasmine of Colchester, Steve Neale and his wife Brianna of Queensbury, NY, and Theresa Neale of Watertown, NY; 10 great grandchildren, Cheyane, Kyra, Sofia, Hezekiah, Elyse, Peyton, Myah, Savannah, Anthony, and Haley; and many nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, George Neale in 1991; her sisters, Beatrice (Aimee) Dufresne, Alexina (Gerard) Laferriere, Antoinette (Frank) Myott, Biola (Leo) Parent, and Gertrude (Leonel) Couture; her brothers, Joseph (Florence) Prive, George (Rachel) Prive, and Raymond (Norma) Prive; and a brother-in-law, Basil Neale.
Theresas family would like to extend their deep and heartfelt gratitude to June Flaherty for her service as Religious Communicant. They would also like to thank Morgan Ouellette LPN, Brownway Residence and their staff for her care since moving there in May of 2013.
In keeping with current restrictions, a private graveside service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Enosburg Falls.
