Theresa Soule

ENOSBURG FALLS - Theresa Red Soule, age 87, widow of Max Mickey Soule, passed away Friday September 28, 2007 at Our Lady of the Meadows in Richford.
\tShe was born January 14, 1920 in Richford, the daughter of the late Arthur & Anna (Grasset) Young.
\tRed was raised in Richford and was a 1937 graduate of Richford High School and celebrated her 70th class reunion in July of this year. She married Max Mickey Soule on June 9, 1945 and they made there home and raised their family in Enosburg Falls. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She was employed in the guidance office at Enosburg Falls High School for 16 years retiring in 1988. Red enjoyed golfing and playing cards especially with the 500 Club.
\tShe is survived by her children Gary Soule, and Sarah Sally Bashaw and her special friend Lindsey Gates all of Enosburg Falls; her grandchildren, Travis Bashaw and his wife Stacey, Damon Bashaw, and Ashley (Bashaw) Longe and her husband Chuck, and Morgan Soule; her great grandchildren Brayden Bashaw and Addyson Longe; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Clifford Young.
\tFuneral services were held Monday October 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Enosburg Falls with Rev. Rich ODonnell celebrating the Mass of Christian burial, assisted by Leonard Charron. Organist and Soloist was Mary Jo Gillilan. Following the blessing of Red upon entering the church the funeral pall was placed on her casket by her children, Gary Soule and Sally Bashaw. Scripture readings were proclaimed by Reds grandchildren, Travis Bashaw and Morgan Soule. Offertory gifts were presented by her grandchildren, Travis Bashaw, Damon Bashaw, Ashley (Bashaw) Longe, and Morgan Soule. Interment followed in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Pall Bearers were extended family members, Lee Tillotson, David Brown, Andrew Crane, William Riggie, Ray Lesperance, and Louis Billado. Following the funeral services a luncheon that was prepared by the St. John the Baptist Church family was held at the Parish Hall.
