Thomas Gallagher Black

ALBURGH / RICHFORD - Thomas Gallagher Black, age 82, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the St. Albans Health & Rehab Facility. He was born in Bronx, New York on April 3, 1934.
Thomas attended PS 14 & PS 72 in the Bronx. His working career started in the restaurant business after graduating from Steeles Institution Training. He later worked as a farm hand and lived in Alburgh for several years prior to making his home at Ave Maria Community Care Home in Richford for several years where he established many friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 152 Main Street, Richford with Rev. Karl Hahr celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours.
