BERKSHIRE - Thomas Michael Gleason, III, age 33, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday April 29, 2009 at his home in Berkshire.
Tom was born March 5, 1976 in St. Albans the son of Peggy Broe Gleason & Thomas M. Gleason, Jr.
Tom was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a sheet metal worker and mechanic having worked at Connor Construction, Vermont Heating & Ventilating, Sheldon Welding & Repair as well as several area farms.
Tom was a tinkerer and enjoyed working on old cars and playing guitar. He loved to spend time with his kids and when he was younger he loved to spend time with his grandfather Broe.
He is survived by his children, Samantha Gleason of Middlebury, Leah Russin, Katelyn Gleason, Bethany Gleason, Thomas M. Gleason IV, and Tyler Gleason all of Enosburg; his Partner of 13 years, June Russin of Enosburg; his mother, Peggy Gleason and her fianc Jeff Clark of Berkshire; his father, Thomas M. Gleason, Jr. of Burlington; his grandmother, Marie Broe of Richford; several aunts, uncles & cousins. He was predeceased by his, maternal grandfather, Charles Broe; and his paternal grandmother, Theresa Stanhope.
A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, May 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery, Golf Course Road, Richford. There will be no visiting hours.
