Yvonne M. Doner (Rivers) 71, of Rocky Hill, CT, beloved wife of 54 years to Danton A. Doner, passed away on Tuesday, November 8th surrounded by her family. Born in St. Albans, VT on May 16, 1940.
She worked for the State of CT Veterans Home and Hospital in Rocky Hill for 23 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed listening to music and cross stitching.
Besides her husband she is survived by her three children, Michael A. Doner and wife Jo-Ann of Southington, Irene Rumpza of Middletown and Michele Bates of Rocky Hill. Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be held Saturday November 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 222 Missisquoi St., Enosburg Falls with Rev. Roger Charbonneau celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in St. Anthonys Catholic Cemetery in Sheldon.
A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
