ST. ALBANS - H. Yvonne Lovelette, age 82, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Franklin County Rehabilitation Center in St. Albans.
She was born December 25, 1933 in Houlton, Maine the daughter of the late Louis & Anna (DeMerchant) Cyr.
Yvonne was raised and attended school in Houlton, Maine. She married Norman Lovelette June 3, 1952 and moved to Richford, VT where they lived for 7 years until they moved to Sheldon Springs where they raised their family and resided until 1986 when they moved back to Richford. When Norms health care needs increased in 1994 they moved to St. Albans to be closer to the Dialysis Unit.
Yvonne worked as a nurses aide and owned and operated The Maples Community Care Home. She enjoyed spending many of her summers at camp on Fairfield Pond. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, loving each and everyone the same.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Phillip & Sandra Lovelette of Enosburg Falls, Timothy & Roxanne Lovelette of Bealeton, VA, Terry Lovelette and his partner Sherry King of St. Albans, John & Sarah Lovelette of St. Albans and Nancy & Dean Zottos of Epping, NH; 13 grandchildren, Chad Lovelette and his wife Shawna of Enosburg Falls, Brad Lovelette and his wife Heather of Sheldon, Amy Lovelette of Enosburg Falls, Rodney Burns and his wife Jennifer of Enosburgh, Andrea Kurth and her husband Mike and Genna Warren and her husband Josh all of Warrenton, VA, Adam Lovelette and his significant other Liza Desranleau of Swanton, Molly Lovelette and her husband James Williams of Westford, Shaun Lovelette and his wife Andrea of Swanton, Nico Zottos of Epping, NH and Hanna, Ben and Emma Lovelette all of St. Albans; 10 great grandchildren; her siblings, Ann Marie Jenkins of Houlton, ME, Janice Denise Lovelette and her husband Allen of Herman, ME, Edward L. Cyr and his wife Betty of Portland, ME and Leland J. Cyr of Houlton, ME and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Norman on March 10, 2002; her siblings, Madeline Reynolds, Betty Jenkins, Clarence Cyr, Phyllis Murphy, Earl Cyr and Margaret L. Parker and her siblings-in-law, Philip Jenkins, Donald Parker and Donna Cyr.
A memorial service will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 241 Lake Street, St. Albans with Rev. Maurice Roy celebrating the Mass of Christian burial. Interment will take place later this spring in the Hillside Cemetery in Richford.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 4-7 PM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
